Matthew provides comprehensive municipal and land use planning advice to private and public sector clients. Drawing on his experience working within and alongside municipal government, he provides practical solutions to complex and challenging legal matters.

Matthew is a member of the firm's Municipal & Land Use Planning Group. His practice focuses on municipal, land use planning, development and expropriation law. Matthew assists developers, homeowners, municipalities and others in resolving complex property and land development disputes, and in securing land use planning approvals across Ontario. 

Matthew has represented clients before every level of court in Ontario, and regularly appears before the Ontario Land Tribunal, Toronto Local Appeal Body and the Committee of Adjustment.  

Matthew is the co-author of Ontario Expropriation Law and Commentary and is a regular contributor to the Digest of Municipal and Planning Law.
