Lola Bartoszewicz is a registered Patent Agent in Canada and the United States, with a PhD in clinical biochemistry. Lola’s practice focuses on patent drafting and prosecution, strategic portfolio management, patentability and freedom-to-operate opinions and due diligence reviews. She specializes in the fields of biotechnology and life sciences, chemical sciences, cleantech, materials sciences, medical devices, nanotechnology and pharmaceuticals.

Kimberly McManus is Co-Leader of the firm's Intellectual Property Group and a registered Patent Agent in Canada and the United States. Kimberly has extensive experience in drafting and prosecuting patent and design applications, preparing patentability, infringement, validity and freedom-to-operate opinions, providing worldwide strategic patent and design portfolio management and conducting due diligence in patent and design valuations. Her practice focuses on the areas of chemistry, pharmaceutics, medical devices, aerospace and aeronautics, energy and mining.

Pia-Lauren Reece is a registered Patent Agent in Canada and the United States with experience in the areas of patent application filing, drafting, prosecution and opinion work. She has a technical background in specialized areas of life sciences and medicine, including cellular biology, biochemistry, diagnostics, therapeutics and immunology.

Kitt Sinden is a registered Patent Agent in Canada and the United States. Kitt specializes in the areas of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, chemistry, medical devices, agriculture, food science and engineering, oil & gas and mechanics. He has extensive experience in representing clients before the Canadian Patent Appeal Board, the Canadian Patent Reissue Board and the Patented Medicines Prices Review Board. Kitt also has extensive experience in advising and assisting counsel in pharmaceutical patent litigation.

Ken Clark is a Certified Specialist in Intellectual Property Law (Patent, Trademark and Copyright) and a registered Canadian Trademark Agent. Ken’s practice focuses primarily on intellectual property law enforcement, including copyright, patents and trademarks, and related areas such as internet law. Ken litigates copyright, patent and trademark disputes, and has a particular interest in mass copyright enforcement. On the solicitor side, Ken’s practice includes trademark prosecution, intellectual property licensing and assistance with strategic IP planning for new and existing businesses.

Timothy Lowman is Co-Leader of the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. He is a Certified Specialist in Civil Litigation by the Law Society of Ontario as well as a registered Canadian Trademark Agent, Certified Arbitrator and Certified Licensing Professional. Tim has more than 45 years of experience as counsel in a broad range of commercial and intellectual property litigation, including patent, trademark, copyright, professional errors and omissions, trade secrets, invention ownership, product liability and employment law claims.

Andrea Kroetch is a registered Canadian Trademark Agent. Her practice covers a broad spectrum of IP matters, with a particular focus on technology and IP transactions, and all aspects of trademark law, from clearance and prosecution to opposition, enforcement and copyright law. Andrea also provides strategic guidance on intellectual property issues related to acquisitions, licensing and commercialization.
