Booth Centennial Healthcare Linen Services Completes Sale of its Business

Booth Centennial Healthcare Linen Services completed the sale of all or substantially all of its assets to Ecotex Service Corporation in partnership with Fengate Capital Management.

Owned by 22 member hospitals and long-term care facilities, including some of the largest hospitals in the Greater Toronto Area, Booth was the largest single-site healthcare laundry facility in North America, processing more than 35 million kilograms of medical linens annually. Located in Mississauga, Booth was the market leader for healthcare linen, laundry and surgical sterilization services to hospitals and long-term care facilities in Ontario.

Ecotex is a Canadian-based provider of healthcare laundry and linen services to hospitals, sub-acute and medical facilities in Canada and the United States. Fengate is a leading alternative asset management firm specializing in the management of investment funds on behalf of Canadian and international pension funds.
