Department of Finance Clarifies Legislative Intent for Amendments to Taxation of Intergenerational Transfers of Businesses Edward Miller and Robert Santia Jul 23, 2021 On July 19, 2021, the Department of Finance released a statement acknowledging that the amendments contained in Bill C-208 form part of the Income Tax Act (Canada) and are now law.
