On December 1, 2023, the Kaladar Gas Group was placed in receivership on application by Tandia Financial Credit Union Limited, which was owed approximately $12.8 million. BDO Canada Limited was named as the receiver. Kaladar Gas Group is a group of companies with gas and retail operations in Kaladar, Cloyne, Trenton and Belleville, under the following separate legal entities 1557113 Ontario Inc., 1870431 Ontario Inc., 2500994 Ontario Ltd. and 2544924 Ontario Inc.
