RBC Secures Receivership of Ontario Construction Companies
On July 4, 2025, BECC Construction Inc., Dali Drywall Ltd.,
2737566 Ontario Inc. and Massive Devcon Corporation, Ontario-based construction
companies, were placed into receivership after defaulting on a $4.3-million
loan to Royal Bank of Canada (“RBC”). The appointment was made by the
Ontario Superior Court of Justice under subsection 243(1) of the Bankruptcy
and Insolvency Act and section 101 of the Courts of Justice Act.
