Revue Film Society Settles Lease Dispute, Signs New Five-Year Agreement
Earlier this year, Revue Film Society (“RFS”), a Canadian non-profit organization, obtained an interim injunction order to temporarily prevent the landlord from evicting or otherwise interfering with the operation of the historic Revue Cinema in the Toronto neighbourhood of Roncesvalles.
RFS recently reached a settlement with its landlord by entering into a new five-year lease agreement. In doing so, the parties have resolved the pending litigation and upcoming October injunction motion continuation.
Aird & Berlis represented RFS with a team consisting of Brian Chung (Litigation & Dispute Resolution) and Trevor Crowley (Real Estate).
