In the fast-paced commercial real estate environment, clients look to Trevor for his proactive, responsive, and goal-oriented approach to law. He quickly and adeptly identifies potential legal challenges, enabling clients to focus on the real issues at hand and solving them in an efficient manner.
Trevor is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Group. His practice involves all aspects of the acquisition, financing and sale of commercial real estate, with a particular emphasis on land development and joint ventures. He routinely acts for condominium developers on land acquisitions, and commercial real estate investment companies on the purchase and sale of stabilized income properties. Trevor’s practice also includes commercial leasing.
Represented Harlo Capital and Republic Developments in securing a $178-million investment by the Building Ontario Fund to acquire a 50% interest in the Scarborough Junction project, a major mixed-use development to be constructed on lands adjacent to the Scarborough GO Station.
Represented OEF Village Green Nominee Inc. in a successful Ontario Superior Court application reaffirming the certainty of title afforded under Ontario’s land titles system and confirming the limited scope of a registered easement.
Acted for Generation Capital on the purchase of a multi-tenanted commercial property in Toronto.
Acted for 11 Yorkville Partners, a partnership between Metropia, CD Capital and RioCan Living, on the sale of 81 rental apartments comprising approximately five floors of the 11 YV condominium project located at 11 Yorkville Avenue, Toronto.
Advised Stockton & Bush and Minto Group on the sale of 3560-3590 Lakeshore Boulevard West for the purchase price of $11 million.
Successfully secured a five-year lease agreement for the Revue Film Society, settling pending litigation with its landlord.
