Kindness Can Accomplish Everything: Aird & Berlis Lawyers Featured in Law Times Article
Aird & Berlis lawyers Angela Swan (she/her) and Naomi
Mares (she/her), alongside André Bacchus (he/him), a career counsellor at the
Lincoln Alexander School of Law, recently shared their thoughts on progress,
challenges and allyship in the legal sector in a recent article for Law
Times.
The comments stemmed from an Aird & Berlis webinar held June
28, 2023, in recognition of Pride Month. A panel including lawyers who are
members of the LGBTQ2+ community shared perspectives regarding ways the
industry continues to evolve in their respective areas of specialization, as
well as what challenges and successes they have faced within their careers so
far.
