Angela is a strong communicator and collaborator who advises financial institutions and private banking and finance clients on transactions that span a wide variety of industries. She enjoys the challenging nature of transactional work, and brings a meticulous attention to detail and client focus to all of her files.
Angela is a member of the firm’s Financial Services Group. She advises on corporate and commercial lending transactions, including bilateral and syndicated financings, asset-based lending, real estate financings, acquisition financings and mezzanine and subordinated debt.
Angela summered and articled at Aird & Berlis before returning as an associate.

Representative Matters
Represented Linamar Corporation in
its acquisition of Bourgault Industries Ltd., a leading agricultural equipment
manufacturer, for $640 million. In conjunction with the Bourgault
transaction closing, Linamar also finalized a new $700-million term loan
agreement.
Represented Linamar Corporation (TSX: LNR) in connection with its acquisition of a substantial portion of Mobex Fourth and 1, LLC’s U.S.-based assets.
Represented a U.S. private equity firm that invests in technology, business services and industrial companies as Canadian counsel in its acquisition of all of the issued and outstanding shares of a Canadian-based cybersecurity firm and amendments to the fund’s term and asset-based credit arrangements.
Represented Lorne Park Capital Partners Inc. (TSXV:LPC) in the completion of a secured loan facility for up to $15 million with CWB Maxium Financial Inc.
Acted for Linamar Corporation in the completion of a $550 million private placement of senior unsecured notes.
Represented Wynnchurch Capital, L.P. as Canadian counsel in connection with its majority ownership acquisition of FloWorks International, LLC.
Acted for Linamar Corporation in its renewal and extension of its principal revolving credit facility.
Represented Aleafia Health Inc., a vertically integrated and federally licensed Canadian cannabis company, in connection with the closing of its amendment of its $37 million convertible debentures and a private placement of units.
