Reinventing You: Personal Branding and Authenticity in the Workplace
CPD for Lawyers: 1 Hour of Professionalism Credit for LSO CLE reporting. CPD for HRPA and CHRP Members: 1 Hour
Building a brand that is authentically you is an ongoing process and no easy task. It is important to ensure that your personal brand evolves with your goals and needs of today, while continuing to speak to your target audience. Taking control of your brand and the narrative associated with it can mean the difference between a fulfilling, rewarding career and a career where you are not living up to your full potential.
Join the Aird & Berlis Women’s Initiative Co-Chairs, Adria Leung Lim and Jacqueline (Jack) Goslett, alongside Jeanne Lam, President of Wattpad, for an insightful conversation about reinventing yourself, tips for personal branding and the importance of authenticity in the workplace.
Jeanne Lam is the President of Wattpad, the world’s largest storytelling platform with 90M+ readers and writers. Having been in tech for 20 years, Jeanne felt like an outsider or an "other" for much of her career, until she found Wattpad. What she originally thought would only be a two-year period at Wattpad has turned into almost eight years, which she largely attributes to finding fun and fulfilment at work.
