Diversity within the legal sector can take on many forms. There is diversity in terms of personal identity amongst practitioners, which includes characteristics such as race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability and age. There is also diversity within areas of practice, specialization, roles for non-practising lawyers and business leadership opportunities. The legal sector is robust with diverse personal and professional identities.

In recognition of Pride Month 2023, join us for a panel discussion including lawyers who are members of the LGBTQ2+ community. Hear their perspectives regarding ways the industry continues to evolve in their respective areas of specialization, as well as what challenges and successes they have faced within their careers so far. Learn how legal workplaces can prepare for the incoming generation of LGBTQ2+ professionals, taking note of ever-changing expectations related to diversity and inclusion for community members and their allies.
