In recognition of International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3, we are proud to invite you to an online panel discussion. Join us to hear the personal stories of Canadian para athletes and learn how they continue moving forward during these unusual times.

The power of sport can profoundly impact those with a disability by empowering them to realize their full potential and advocate for societal change. Sport also helps to reduce the stigma and discrimination associated with disability by highlighting the athlete and their skill first and foremost– reshaping the community's assumptions in a positive context.

As we continue to navigate the impact of COVID-19, we recognize that the cancellation of sporting events, including the 2020 Summer Olympics and Paralympics, has added an additional layer of hardship to the world and personally impacted the athletes who were to participate. We salute these athletes, some of the world’s most accomplished competitors, for continuing to inspire us.
