Dasha is a confident and compassionate litigator with a focus on labour and employment law. As a member of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Workplace Law, and Sports, Media & Entertainment Groups, her practice focuses on various employment and labour-related matters, such as drafting contracts and policies, grievances and collective bargaining, as well as civil and commercial actions involving employment disputes. She also has experience with human rights-related matters. Dasha regularly advises clients with respect to accessibility issues in the workplace, and frequently conducts policy, ethical and statute-driven investigations for a wide range of clients.

Dasha has appeared as counsel before a variety of courts and tribunals in Ontario, including the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Divisional Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.

As a former Canadian national team athlete, two-time Pan American champion and long-time athlete advocate and trusted sport advisor, Dasha assists athletes and artists, as well as the organizations that champion them, with a focus on governance. She brings the same level of focus and competitive energy to helping her clients meet their business objectives.

Acted as Canadian counsel to Kuehne+Nagel with respect to its acquisition of Farrow, a Canadian customs brokerage, transportation and logistics business.

Advised a competitive youth hockey league startup in Ontario, acting as Canadian counsel for the league.

Acted as Canadian counsel for the PWHPA and PWHLPA and assisted with negotiations of the CBA towards the launch of a new professional women’s hockey league in North America.

Represented Delta Consulting Group in connection with the acquisition of Froese Forensic Partners.

Represented Zoeller Company in connection with its acquisition of Burke Water Systems Manufacturing Inc. / Burke Manufacture De Systѐmes A Eau Inc. and Bur-Cam Pumps Inc. / Les Pompes Bur-Cam Inc.

Legal counsel to MediPharm Labs Corp. (TSX:LABS) in its acquisition of VIVO Cannabis Inc. 

Acted as Ontario counsel to Premier Parks LLC in connection with EPR Properties’ US$142 million acquisition of the Village Vacances Valcartier resort and hotel in Quebec City and Calypso Waterpark in Ottawa, Ontario, and the simultaneous leasing of the properties to Premier Parks.
