Proposed Changes to the Income Tax Act:
How Will These Amendments Affect Your Constituents?

Date: Thursday, September 14, 2017
Time: 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. ET

On July 18, 2017, Finance Minister Bill Morneau announced the release of a consultation paper and draft legislation to amend the Income Tax Act. There have been a slew of articles written on the proposed amendments, and many groups are opposing the changes, but how will private corporations and their shareholders actually be affected? Before Parliament is back in session, get a clear understanding of these technical changes to the Act.

In this webinar, David Malach, a senior tax lawyer with over 35 years of experience in advising private companies, explains in simple terms the effects on the taxation of private companies if the proposed amendments are enacted.

This is your opportunity to get an understanding of the proposals and to ask questions of an expert, so you can assess how they will impact your constituents.

Mr. Malach will not discuss whether he is in favour of or against the proposals and no lobbying will take place.
