Archive Now Available!

Meghan A. Cowan, Paige Backman and Donald B. Johnston

Date: Wednesday, February 15, 2017
Time: 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. ET

Many organizations rely on expensive software and the latest technology updates to protect their IT systems from outside threats, not realizing it is actually the behaviour of their own employees and service providers that poses the greatest IT systems risk. Correcting employee and service provider behaviour is often the cheapest, most effective way to improve IT security and should be an entity’s first line of defence. In this webinar, we will examine the following:

  • how employees, contractors and service providers put companies’ IT systems at risk
  • what those risks are and what policies and procedures can be implemented to mitigate IT Systems risks
