About
Reem advises clients on trust, estate and related tax matters, bringing a thoughtful and human-centred approach to her practice. She values the opportunity to connect with clients, learn their stories and support them through challenging circumstances. Drawing on her background in psychology and research, Reem is particularly interested in the complex questions surrounding cognition, decision-making and family dynamics that often arise in wills and estates disputes. Her empathy, attention to detail and analytical mindset help her approach each file with care and diligence.
Reem is a member of the firm's Tax, Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Estate Litigation Groups. Her practice focuses on contentious wills and estates matters, including estate and trust litigation for individuals, families and trust companies. She advises on a range of disputes involving capacity issues, guardianship proceedings, dependant support claims and contested passing of accounts applications. In addition to her litigation practice, Reem supports clients with estate planning and estate administration.
Reem joined Aird & Berlis as an associate after summering and articling at the firm.
