Jesse L. Waslowski

Associate Called to the Ontario Bar: 2018

Jesse is a member of the firm's Tax Group. He represents clients in tax disputes at the audit, objection and appeal stages. Jesse also advises on commodity tax matters in transactional contexts, including goods and services tax and harmonized sales tax (GST/HST), provincial sales tax (PST) and land transfer tax. Jesse has successfully represented clients in the voluntary disclosure program with the CRA and Ontario Ministry of Finance. He has notable experience working with and presenting on the builder self-supply rules for residential real estate; GST/HST matters for financial institutions and financial services; cross-border sales tax matters, including the new digital sales tax rules; and non-resident registration requirements.

Jesse leaves no stone unturned while advocating for his clients and vigorously defending their interests. He works tirelessly to attain favourable resolutions while offering innovative solutions.

Recognizing that every matter is unique, Jesse maintains open communication with clients to tailor strategies that best suit their needs.

Jesse has been with Aird & Berlis since 2015.
