May is Asian Heritage Month in Canada, a time to celebrate the contributions of Canadians that make up the Asian and South Asian diaspora. The theme for Asian Heritage Month 2020 is "Asian Canadians: United in Diversity." In the legal profession, we have seen the successes of many Asian-Canadian lawyers - from receiving awards and national recognition for their dedication to the profession, to appointments to trial and appellate courts across the country. We also recognize the challenges faced by lawyers of Asian and South Asian descent.

Join us as we hear from Julia Shin Doi, General Counsel of Ryerson University, Sanj Mitra, Senior Partner at Aird & Berlis LLP, and Sony Gokhale, General Counsel of The Supreme Cannabis Company, Inc., on their journeys through the legal profession.
