Nili is a partner and a member of the firm’s Real Estate Group. She practises commercial real estate law, advising on all areas of real property transactions, including the purchase, sale and financing of commercial office complexes, retail shopping centres, residential apartment buildings and hotels, as well as secured lending.
Energized by the sophistication and rapid pace of high-profile real estate transactions, Nili diligently upholds the level of service, responsiveness, and protection that clients have come to expect from her. She is involved in complex real estate transactions nationwide and has experience advising foreign companies investing in Canadian real estate. Nili’s high level of service is driven by her clients’ business objectives.
She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, American Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association and Law Society of Ontario. Active in the legal real estate community, Nili sits on the Board of Directors of the Canada Israel Chamber of Commerce, where she holds the position of Corporate Secretary, and she was a member of the executive of the Real Property Section of the Ontario Bar Association from 2010-2015. In addition, she is a member of the Toronto chapter of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) and NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Properties).

Representative Matters
Advised First Capital REIT on the sale of its 50% interest in its Royal Orchard development site in Thornhill, Ontario, which is slated for multiple mixed-use towers and approximately 1.6 million square feet of density.
Advised First Capital REIT on the sale of the Yonge-Davis Centre located in Newmarket, Ontario.
Advised Altree Developments Inc., Westdale Construction Co. Limited and Avenir Jersey Developments Limited (a company owned by associates of Lanterra Developments Inc.), as the sponsors, in West Side Square Development Fund’s US$50 million initial public offering and acquisition of an interest in the development of the West Side Square Project, which includes a 477-unit rental building and 9,800 square feet of commercial space at 66 Broadway in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Advised First Capital REIT in its disposition of 5051 Yonge Street, Toronto for a sale price of $50 million.
Advised NYX Capital Corp. in its acquisition of a 22-acre development site near Toronto Pearson International Airport for a purchase price of $40.7 million.
Represented First Capital REIT in its acquisition of 272 Lawrence Avenue West in Toronto, Ontario.
Advised First Capital REIT in its acquisition, alongside Crestpoint Real Estate Investments Ltd., of Amberlea Shopping Centre, a 100,174 sq. ft. grocery and pharmacy anchored shopping centre in Pickering, Ontario for a purchase price of $45 million.
Advised First Capital REIT in its acquisition of an assembly of properties located at the major intersection of Bloor and Spadina and in connection with the structuring of a strategic partnership between First Capital and its partner.
Advised First Capital REIT in its exercise of an option to purchase its previous partner’s 50% interest in a development site for $56 million and the subsequent conveyance of a 50% interest in the Property to Pemberton Group for $156 million as well as is in connection with the structuring of the strategic partnership between First Capital and Pemberton to develop the 28-acre site, which will be transformed into a master-planned, mixed-use transit-oriented neighbourhood.
Represented Medi Power Canada Inc. in its sale of 1010 Talbot St., St. Thomas to Skyline Retail Real Estate Holdings Inc. for a purchase price of $20.85 million.
Advised Choice Properties REIT in the exercise of its equity conversion right from Rice Group to acquire a 75% ownership interest in 154 developable acres of industrial land in the Greater Toronto Area intended for a 1.2 million square foot distribution facility for an initial investment in the project of approximately $170 million, including land and site preparation.
Advised KIN Capital Partners Inc. in the structuring of its equity platform with Mivtach Shamir Holdings Ltd. and subsequent investment in an 11.6 acre site in Vaughan for a large scale master-planned community.
Advised First Capital REIT in its co-venture acquisition of 102 Atlantic Avenue.
Advised Mishmeret Trust Company Ltd. in connection with a bond offering by El-Ad Group on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange wherein El-Ad Group raised NIS 500 million.
Advised Westdale Construction Co. Limited on its acquisition of two office buildings in Toronto for a purchase price of $105 million.
Advised Reznik Paz Nevo Trusts Ltd. in connection with a bond offering by Elad Canada Realty Inc. (“ELAD Canada”) on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange wherein Elad Canada raised approximately $195 million.
Advised First Capital Realty Inc. in its sale of a 50% interest in 11 grocery anchored shopping centers located in Ontario and Quebec to BMO Life Assurance Company for a purchase price of $177 million.
Advised First Capital Realty Inc. in its sale of a 50% interest in six grocery anchored shopping centers located in Ontario and Quebec to Firm Capital Property Trust for a purchase price of $133 million.
Advised First Capital Realty Inc. in its sale of a 50% interest in the London Portfolio (Byron Village, Wellington Corners, Sunningdale Village, Stoneybrook Plaza, Hyde Park Plaza and Adelaide Shoppers) to Desjardins Financial Security Life Assurance Company for a purchase price of $66 million.
Advised First Capital Realty Inc. in its acquisition of 775 King St. West, Toronto, for a purchase price of $22.75 million.
Advised Reznik Paz Nevo Trusts Ltd. in connection with a bond offering by Elad Canada Realty Inc. on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange wherein Elad Canada raised approximately $95 million CAD.
Advised Crestpoint Real Estate Investment Ltd. in its acquisition of the Rexall/Pharma Portfolio for a purchase price of approximately $165 million.
Advised First Capital Realty Inc. in its co-venture acquisition for a purchase price of $52 million.
Advised First Capital Realty Inc. in its sale of a 50% interest in the Lachenaie Portfolio (Galeries de Lanaudiere/Carrefour Charlemagne/Galeries des Chesnaye) to Desjardins Financial Security Life Assurance Company for a purchase price of $71 million.

Advised 90 Sheppard Avenue East Inc. in its sale to Crown Realty Partners of a seven-storey atrium office complex for a purchase price of $76.5 million.
Advised Toronto-5001 Yonge Street Inc. in its sale to Dundee Properties Limited Partnership of an office building for a purchase price of $107.7 million.
Advised Taurus Cookstown Partners Ltd. in its sale to RioCan Acquisitions Inc. of an outlet mall for a purchase price of $62 million.
Advised Peter Street Office Partners Ltd., Taurus Peter Street Investment Limited Partnership and Taurus Peter Street Limited Partnership in its sale to Crestpoint Real Estate Investments Ltd. of an office building for a purchase price of $52 million.

Advised El-Ad Group on sale to Starlight Investments Limited of a 270,000 square foot, 13-storey building in Ottawa, Ontario for a purchase price of $75 million.
Advised El-Ad Group on sale to a private investor of a four-building complex of 1,478 residential apartment units in Toronto, Ontario for a purchase price of $134.5 million.
Advised El-Ad Group on sale to First Capital Acquisition Corp. of a retail shopping centre for a purchase price of $72 million.
Advised El-Ad Group on sale to Homburg Canada Real Estate Investment Trust of three retail shopping centres for a total purchase price of $96 million.
