Kishan Lakhani

Kishan is a tactical litigator who thrives under pressure in the courtroom. He is passionate about advocating for his clients and takes pride in developing informed and calculated solutions. He employs a client-first approach - by acquiring a meticulous understanding of his clients’ goals; and then, formulating a tailored strategy to achieve favourable outcomes. 

Kishan is a member of the firm’s Financial Services and Litigation Groups. He maintains a broad advocacy practice, with a focus on bankruptcy, insolvency and restructuring litigation. He has experience advising on a range of matters, including financial services, creditor remedies, contractual disputes, white-collar crime, professional negligence, government affairs and crisis management. Kishan’s clients have included Schedule I banks, publicly traded international corporations, senior corporate and government officials, healthcare professionals and privately-owned development companies. 

Kishan regularly appears as counsel on matters before all levels of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (including the Commercial List and Bankruptcy Court), and has acted in proceedings before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Supreme Court of Canada.
