Kim is adept at guiding clients through the many layers of approvals necessary for urban, commercial and residential development, particularly in the City of Toronto. Kim’s clients benefit greatly from her strong work ethic, results-oriented advice, and the collaborative relationships with city staff that she has built over the years.

Kim is a member of the firm's Municipal & Land Use Planning Group. Her municipal practice focuses on land use planning and development for a broad range of clients, including private sector developers, landowners, municipalities and individual homeowners. Her practice includes processing development applications as well as representing clients before local municipal planning bodies and Councils. She has extensive experience appearing before the Ontario Land Tribunal (formerly the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal).

Early in her career, she accepted a secondment with the Toronto City Solicitor's Office and worked for one year in the legal department (zoning division) at City Hall. Since that time, her practice has been centred almost exclusively in the City of Toronto.

Kim articled at Aird & Berlis prior to being called to the bar in 1987.
