Kieran combines legal insight with a strong foundation in public policy to deliver strategic counsel in insolvency and restructuring. His practice sits at the intersection of litigation, finance and regulatory strategy, where he thrives under pressure and delivers timely, tailored solutions.

Kieran is a member of the firm’s Financial Services Group. He brings a strategic, litigation-informed perspective to his practice. Kieran advises on complex mandates involving insolvency litigation, corporate restructurings, financing and creditor enforcement, alongside providing strategic insolvency advice.

Prior to joining the firm, Kieran spent nearly a decade advising Members of Parliament, Cabinet Ministers and Party Leaders at both Queen’s Park and on Parliament Hill, most recently serving as a senior advisor to Ontario’s Attorney General, the Honourable Doug Downey. His previous work has spanned a variety of regulated sectors, including bank regulation, finance, alcohol, gambling and cannabis.

Kieran’s unique background complements his legal practice and informs his understanding of how policy and regulatory frameworks shape corporate restructurings and commercial litigation.
