As a member of the firm’s Litigation Group, Jessica’s practice focuses on general commercial litigation with an emphasis on copyright, competition law, and construction matters. She also has experience in both plaintiff- and defendant-side class action litigation. Jessica is part of the team that commenced the first “reverse” copyright class action in Canadian history, still ongoing, in which she acts on behalf of several film studios in respect of illegal file sharing. Jessica also has experience in competition law investigations and defence.
Prior to her legal career, Jessica worked at a leading public policy think tank.
Represented a client on issues related to hate crime and hate speech.
