Chris is a dedicated corporate and securities lawyer. He provides clients with practical, strategic legal advice to assist them in achieving their goals. Clients appreciate Chris’s strong attention to detail, responsiveness and overall commitment to client service.

As a member of the firm’s Capital Markets Group, Chris’s practice covers a broad range of corporate and securities matters, including mergers and acquisitions, continuous disclosure, private placements and financings. Chris also provides advice in the investment management space, including with respect to the formation of investment funds and ongoing regulatory compliance matters.

Prior to joining Aird & Berlis, Chris was Legal Counsel at a boutique securities and investment fund law firm in Toronto, where he advised portfolio managers, exempt market dealers and investment fund managers. Chris also served as Junior Counsel in the Law Branch of the Department of Finance Canada, where he participated in drafting legislation for the Cooperative Capital Markets Regulatory Framework.
