Aaron’s commercial real estate practice is rooted in communication. Whether he is advising on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, land development and environmental matters, he is a strong negotiator and advocate for this clients’ interests. Aaron is invested in transactions from the infancy of the deal all the way to closing and he strikes an effective balance between keeping clients involved and being mindful of their time. His ability to reframe an issue serves him well with both clients and opposing counsel.
Aaron is a member of the firm's Real Estate Group. His practice focuses on general commercial real estate for clients ranging from emerging companies to large REITS. Clients trust his analysis and appreciate his commitment to promoting the solutions and structures that best serve their interests.
Aaron was a summer student and an articling student at the firm prior to returning as an associate in 2013.
Acted for the financial advisor and lead arranger, as well as the syndicate of lenders, in a $120 million construction and term financing to a group of companies with a portfolio of retirement and long-term care facilities. Security was taken over both real property and personal property, all located in Ontario. Priority agreements were negotiated with the operating lender, and payout letters negotiated with the former term funders.
