The Coronavirus and Our Workplaces
Businesses across Canada and around the world continue to grapple with the widespread implications of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Occupational health and safety legislation requires employers to provide and ensure a healthy and safe workplace, which involves taking all reasonable measures to protect employees from COVID-19. Some businesses have already closed their doors as an emergency measure, while others are implementing contingency plans, including work from home options and travel restrictions.
Join members of the Aird & Berlis Workplace Law Group as they discuss the challenges employers are facing due to COVID-19 and provide guidance on the measures that can be taken to address the possible risk of harm in the workplace, while trying to manage effectively.
