Hayden Solomons

Hayden's genuine interest in real estate and extraordinary commitment to getting the deal done for his clients in spite of obstacles and time constraints have earned him a reputation in the industry as a true leader in commercial real estate law. He is highly regarded for his sound judgement and practical business strategies, and for his knowledge and passion for being the driving force that brings his clients' deals across the finish line. Hayden's excitement and intensity for transactional work is balanced by his friendly and down-to-earth approach.

Hayden is a member of the Real Estate Group. His practice encompasses all aspects of real property transactions, including the purchase, sale and financing of commercial office complexes, retail shopping centres, residential apartment buildings, hotels, retirement homes and long-term residences, as well as secured lending. He has extensive experience in joint venture structuring, portfolio acquisitions, financings and restructurings (both for lending syndicates and corporate borrowers), and also practices corporate commercial law, with an emphasis on the acquisition or privatization of public real estate enterprises and capital markets transactions. He has advised on a wide range of transactions for both private and public companies and REITs.

Hayden began his career at Aird & Berlis in 1994 as a summer student.
