Linamar Completes Acquisition of Mobex Propulsion-Agnostic Business

On November 1, 2023, Linamar Corporation (TSX: LNR) ("Linamar") announced that it has completed its acquisition of a substantial portion of the U.S.-based assets of Mobex Fourth and 1, LLC and certain of its affiliates (collectively, “Mobex”) for US$64 million.  

Mobex is a Tier 1 supplier of automotive components and the acquisition was completed by Linamar’s subsidiary, Linamar Structures USA Inc.

The Mobex assets will be integrated into Linamar’s growing Structures Group and will bolster Linamar’s position as a leading supplier of propulsion-agnostic solutions that can be supplied to Battery Electric (BEV), Hybrid and Internal Combustion-powered vehicles.
