Eurofins Acquires Element Materials Technology’s US$400-Million Life Sciences Testing Services Business

On October 1, 2026, Eurofins Scientific (EUFI.PA), a global scientific leader in bioanalytical testing, completed its acquisition of Element Materials Technology’s life sciences testing services business in North America for an enterprise value of US$400 million.

The acquired business provides a range of food, environmental and biopharma product testing services through a network of 27 laboratories and facilities that employ approximately 750 staff. The acquired operations extend the Eurofins laboratory network into key regions of the United States and Canada.
