A partner and member of the firm’s Litigation and Financial Services Groups, Miranda is the litigator of choice for Aird & Berlis’ active Insolvency & Restructuring Group. She also maintains a commercial litigation practice, with an emphasis on general commercial and construction disputes. Miranda appears regularly before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, including the Commercial List and the Bankruptcy Court, and has appeared as counsel at all levels of the Ontario courts.
Miranda is a thought leader within her area of specialization and is often called on to present at industry conferences and continuing education programs. She is a strong advocate who thrives in the courtroom and in negotiations with opposing counsel. She is a confident communicator who has a talent for breaking her clients’ complex problems down into simpler parts, enabling her to fully understand her clients’ goals, and develop effective solutions rooted in practical, business-minded strategy.
This is the third year in a row that a member of the firm’s Financial Services Group has been recognized with this prestigious award, with partners Kyle Plunkett and Ian Aversa being named in 2020 and 2019, respectively.
