Introducing Our New Partners

Aird & Berlis is pleased to announce that Laura Dean, Ethan Eisen, Ajay Gajaria, Alicia McKeag, Danielle Muise, Saam Nainifard and Liam Tracey-Raymont have become partners of the firm.

Laura Dean is a member of the firm's Municipal & Land Use Planning Group and Expropriation Law Group. She provides advice and representation to private and public sector clients on land use planning matters, municipal governance and accountability regimes, and the development and implementation of a wide array of municipal by-laws and policies.

Ethan Eisen is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Group. His practice focuses on the acquisition and disposition of various types of properties throughout Ontario. He also has experience advising on joint ventures and limited partnerships. While Ethan acts primarily for developers and REITs, he also works with individuals and businesses looking to purchase or sell commercial, industrial, mixed-use and multi-family properties.

Ajay Gajaria is a member of the firm’s Municipal & Land Use Planning Group and Expropriation Law Group. He provides counsel and representation to private and public sector clients on a wide variety of matters, including governance, jurisdictional issues, by-law development and implementation, land expropriations, procurement, municipal elections and complex contractual issues. 

Alicia McKeag is a member of the firm’s Capital Markets Group. Her practice focuses on securities and general corporate and commercial matters, including mergers, acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, public and private financings and continuous disclosure requirements for public companies. Alicia also advises clients on ongoing securities and corporate law requirements.

Danielle Muise is a member of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group. Her practice focuses on civil litigation, with an emphasis on corporate and commercial matters. She has acted in commercial, competition, construction, municipal and real property disputes.

Saam Nainifard is a member of the firm’s Tax Group. He advises on all aspects of income taxation, with a particular focus on corporate taxation and reorganizations, mergers & acquisitions and international tax matters.

Liam Tracey-Raymont is a member of the firm's Capital Markets Group. His practice focuses on corporate finance, securities law, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate and commercial activities. He has been involved in a variety of transactions and often advises on matters such as company formation, shareholder agreements, private placements, disclosure and capital markets regulation.
