Aaron Bains Named One of Canadian Lawyer’s Top 25 Most Influential for 2020
Congratulations to Aird & Berlis associate Aaron Bains for receiving the highest number of votes in the Young Influencer category of Canadian Lawyer's Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers 2020. Aaron is one of five outstanding young lawyers recognized for their extraordinary impact on the legal profession and society.
According to Canadian Lawyer, “inclusion in the Top 25 speaks to a level of respect, the ability to influence public opinion and to help shape the laws of this country and others; contribution to the strength and quality of legal services; involvement and impact within the justice community; and social and political influence and involvement.”
Aaron is an integral member of the Aird & Berlis Capital Markets Group, Venture Finance Group and Diversity & Inclusion Committee. He was recently re-elected as the President of the South Asian Bar Association of Toronto, the largest legal diversity organization in Canada. In addition, Aaron is actively involved in the World Sikh Organization’s Ontario Regional Advisory Committee, JusticeNet's Advisory Board, the Interim Law Advisory Council for Ryerson University’s law school, the Canadian International Council Toronto Branch, Breakfast of Champions Charity for SickKids Hospital and the St. George’s Society of Toronto.
