Caivan Receives Approval for 1,061-Home Perth Subdivision

On September 1, 2026, Caivan received Ontario Land Tribunal (“OLT”) approval for a 1,061-home subdivision on the Perth Golf Course, located southwest of Ottawa.

The development will include single-detached homes, townhouses and an affordable housing block, along with approximately two hectares of parkland, neighbourhood commercial space and transportation and stormwater infrastructure. The community is expected to accommodate approximately 2,400 people.

The approval follows a comprehensive settlement of Caivan’s appeal to the OLT. The settlement includes approval of an official plan amendment, a zoning by-law amendment and a draft plan of subdivision approval, subject to conditions. The OLT determined that the revised plans addressed resident concerns and complied with applicable legislation.
