Peter is a highly experienced financial and corporate lawyer, committed to advancing economic reconciliation by working with Indigenous clients on their business and development priorities. He advises on transaction-driven matters, helping structure economic development groups, partnerships and financings. Peter takes the time to understand his clients' needs and provides practical guidance that aligns Indigenous priorities with the commercial requirements of lenders, investors and business counterparties. He values the personal side of his practice and builds trusted relationships through clear communication and a strong understanding of the cultural, governance and community considerations that shape the work of Indigenous organizations.

Peter is a member of the firm's Indigenous Practice Group, as well as its Corporate and Financial Services Groups. He advises First Nation governments and Indigenous organizations on corporate and commercial matters that support Indigenous economic development, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, partnership and joint venture arrangements, financing and negotiation, and project development. Peter's practice also spans lending matters, mergers and acquisitions and corporate and commercial matters for non-Indigenous clients. He draws from his experience acting for domestic and international financial institutions and companies across a broad range of industries, including natural resources, energy, mining, real estate, manufacturing, agriculture, financial services and technology.
