Aaron advises on real estate and leasing transactions, translating legal issues into clear, business-focused strategies. He works closely with clients to identify risks early, negotiate lease terms to minimize disruption and resolve issues to keep deals moving forward. He is drawn to the tangible results of his work, from tenants opening for business to redevelopment projects advancing on schedule. Clients rely on Aaron for practical, straightforward guidance that reflects the interdependent nature of landlord-tenant relationships and delivers commercially sound outcomes for all parties.

Aaron is a member of the firm's Real Estate Group. His practice focuses on structuring commercial leasing transactions from initial deal terms through execution. He advises a broad range of clients, representing both landlords and tenants across major asset classes, including retail, office and industrial properties. His work includes developing lease strategies, drafting agreements and actively managing timelines to maintain momentum through closing. Aaron remains engaged throughout the life of a lease, providing practical guidance on key provisions, day-to-day operational issues and solutions that mitigate risk and support broader business objectives.

Aaron draws on his in-house and private practice experience, having advised landlords, tenants, developers, property managers and public-sector organizations on complex leasing, property management, real estate and development matters across Canada. Prior to joining Aird & Berlis, Aaron held legal roles with Metrolinx and Centrecorp Management Services Limited (now North American Development Group), Tim Hortons and an Ontario law firm, where he negotiated and managed a broad range of agreements, supported major real estate portfolios and partnered with cross-functional teams to advance strategic initiatives.
