Aird & Berlis Opens the Market with Passport to Canada's Cannabis Sector Alliance
Sherri Altshuler, Partner and Co-Chair, Capital Markets and Cannabis Groups at Aird & Berlis, and Richard Kimel, Partner, Capital Markets Group, and Co-Chair, Cannabis Group at Aird & Berlis, joined forces with MNP LLP, MGO | ELLO and the Canadian Securities Exchange to open the market and to launch their "Passport to Canada's Cannabis Sector Alliance." The Alliance provides comprehensive legal, accounting, financial, logistical and listing support to Canadian, U.S. and global companies operating in the cannabis sector.
According to Sherri, "Cannabis is one of the most complex and competitive sectors in the world in which to operate, with a rapidly-changing legal and regulatory environment. Navigating the legal nuances effectively is essential to achieving long-term success."
The Passport to Canada's Cannabis Sector Alliance will be front and centre at the upcoming MJBizCon conference at the Las Vegas Convention Center on December 11-13, 2019. MJBizCon is the largest gathering of cannabis business professionals in the world and features programming to benefit every sector of the industry.
