Adria Leung Lim Recognized as a 2023 Lexpert Rising Star: Canada’s Leading Lawyer Under 40

Aird & Berlis is proud to announce that Adria Leung Lim has been recognized as a 2023 Lexpert Rising Star: Leading Lawyer Under 40.

Adria is a Partner and member of the firm’s Capital Markets Group. She is well-versed in negotiating and closing complex transactions for both public and private companies across various industries, including mining, life sciences and technology. Her work also includes advising on securities compliance issues, corporate governance matters, royalty and streaming transactions, and joint venture arrangements.

Adria is Co-Chair of the Aird & Berlis Women’s Initiative, which provides women lawyers with a platform to connect, support one another and overcome challenges. As part of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee and Asian Heritage Firm Member Resource Group, she is committed to promoting inclusion and raising awareness through meaningful discussion and programming. Adria is also a long-standing member of the firm’s Student Recruitment Committee, acting as a mentor for junior lawyers.

Adria has a long track record of involvement in philanthropic and volunteer initiatives. She was recently a Director for the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy, which aims to improve the day-to-day lives of those with cerebral palsy through services, support systems and resources. She’s also volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Habitat for Humanity and the YMCA.
