Prominent Canadian Bank Sells Portfolio of Distressed Consumer Debt

One of the largest banks in Canada made the move to offload a portfolio of distressed consumer debt from its balance sheet by way of the sale of the portfolio to a debt buyer.

Aird & Berlis represented the Schedule I bank in connection with the sale with a team that was led by Sanj Mitra and included Jeffrey Merk and Matthew Liberatore.
