William advises on land use planning and development matters that often involve long-term projects and multiple stakeholders. He enjoys contributing to projects that shape communities, whether through major developments or more focused property-related matters. William approaches legal issues with strong analytical and communication skills, helping clients understand key considerations and make informed decisions.
William is a member of the firm's Municipal, Land Use Planning & Development Group. He represents homeowners, developers and municipalities on matters arising under the Planning Act and Municipal Act, including proceedings before the Ontario Land Tribunal.
Prior to practising law, William worked as a planner for homebuilders in the Greater Toronto Area, where he managed consulting teams on development projects. This background provides him with valuable insight into the planning and development process and the practical realities that influence land use outcomes.
