Taskeen is a member of the firm's Indigenous Practice and Litigation Groups. Her practice spans civil and commercial litigation, public law and general advocacy, providing her with a strong foundation for layered disputes. Taskeen manages litigation files with precision and care, including judicial reviews that often involve nuanced procedural and constitutional issues. This depth of knowledge equips her to handle intricate litigation matters with confidence while addressing the distinct needs of Indigenous clients and communities.

Representative Matters

Represented defence counsel during the quasi-criminal trial of a former CEO in the Ontario Court of Justice, resulting in an acquittal on all charges.

Represented a client in defending a professional misconduct claim, which led to the withdrawal of the lawsuit.

Represented a client in resolving a Small Claims action concerning allegations of breach of contract on an unpaid invoice.
