Shannon is a law clerk in the firm’s Financial Services Group, specializing in financial services and restructuring and insolvency. She has extensive and in depth experience in matters relating to the Personal Property Security Act and assists with corporate and commercial lending transactions, including asset-based, syndicated, secured and mezzanine lending and subordinated debt. Shannon also assists with corporate proceedings for private, public and foreign corporations, limited partnerships and income trusts.
Shannon arranges lien and other due diligence searches and filings in all provinces and territories across Canada and is familiar with Uniform Commercial Code searches and filings. She drafts and prepares loan and security reviews, search summaries, and transaction documentation. Shannon also assists in making sure that closings are completed seamlessly and on time by preparing necessary closing materials, managing closing logistics and organizing record books.
