Rachel D. Rice

Rachel is a committed real estate lawyer with a passion for client service. Her problem solving skills and adaptability make her a strong asset on a wide variety of transactional real estate matters. Clients appreciate the value that Rachel adds through her business background and ability to thrive under pressure.

As a member of the firm's Real Estate Group, her practice focuses on the acquisition, disposition, development and financing of commercial properties. Rachel represents developers, investors and lenders throughout all stages of the transaction. She has experience with a variety of property types including industrial, multi-tenanted office and retail buildings, strata and mixed-used properties and developable airport properties.  

Rachel also practices commercial leasing, regularly drafting and negotiating leases for property managers, franchisors, tenants and landlords on all property classes. She provides lease interpretations and conducts due diligence reviews and valuations for institutional lenders, developers and prospective purchasers. She has specialized leasing and licensing experience in unique areas such as hydroelectric, airports and cannabis.
