Jacob brings a business-minded perspective to his capital markets practice. He works with clients and colleagues to assess risks, evaluate opportunities and advance transactions efficiently. Jacob is a strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively to address legal issues while keeping his clients' objectives in focus.
Jacob is a member of the firm's Capital Markets, Mergers & Acquisitions and Sports & Entertainment Groups. His practice includes mergers and acquisitions, securities matters, financings and continuous disclosure obligations. Jacob advises a range of clients, from public companies to owner-operated private businesses across various industries, including those operating in the sports sector.
Jacob joined Aird & Berlis as an associate after summering and articling at the firm.

- Held student leadership roles as Vice President of the Ivey Law Club, Vice President of the Sports & Entertainment Business Club, Director of the Entertainment & Sports Law Association, Chair of Philanthropy and Vice President of Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity. He also led and judged the school's Entertainment Negotiation and Hockey Arbitration competitions
