Emily advises clients on corporate and commercial matters, with a focus on the intersection of legal issues and business objectives. She leverages her business background in her practice, allowing her to provide commercially informed advice that reflects her clients' goals. Emily combines this perspective with a detail-oriented approach, helping clients break down complex issues and move matters forward.
Emily is a member of the firm's Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions, Technology and Privacy & Data Security Groups. Her practice includes mergers and acquisitions, technology, privacy and data security, and corporate governance matters. Emily works with businesses at various stages of growth, from startups and emerging companies to established organizations. She often supports technology-driven businesses as they grow, advising on corporate transactions, commercial agreements, governance matters and privacy and data-related issues.
Emily joined Aird & Berlis as an associate after summering and articling at the firm.
