Ally is committed to advancing the rights and interests of Indigenous peoples through her legal practice. She is an empathetic and attentive listener, working closely with clients to understand their priorities, address challenging problems and support their long-term goals. Ally enjoys developing solutions grounded in clients' needs and is motivated by the opportunity to contribute to projects that have a meaningful impact.
Ally is a member of the firm's Indigenous Practice Group. She is also a member of the firm's Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Mining, Energy and Environmental Groups. Ally advises Indigenous communities and organizations on a range of matters, including agreements, consultation, negotiations and economic opportunities. She works with project proponents in the mining, energy, forestry and infrastructure sectors, providing advice on regulatory processes, environmental assessments and consultation obligations. Ally also assists clients with disputes and litigation matters.
Prior to joining Aird & Berlis, Ally clerked at the B.C. Supreme Court in Vancouver for five justices, where she gained valuable insight into the judicial process and the broader legal considerations that continue to inform her practice.
