Alex is known for staying calm under pressure and providing clear, practical advice on insolvency and restructuring matters. He brings a disciplined approach to every file, combining strong advocacy, attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning. Alex’s passion for finance and corporate law, combined with an investigative mindset, allows him to uncover key facts, resolve conflicts and advance client interests through creative solutions.

Alex is a member of the firm’s Financial Services Group. His practice includes advising on bankruptcy, receivership and restructuring proceedings under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act. Alex acts for banks, creditors, debtors and court-appointed officers, and works closely with colleagues across practice areas to provide strategic, well-rounded advice during complex financial restructurings.

Alex joined Aird & Berlis as an associate after summering and articling at the firm.
