Denis Shapovalov Visits Aird & Berlis After Canada’s Historic Run in the Davis Cup
Aird & Berlis is a proud sponsor of Denis Shapovalov, who achieved yet another significant career milestone this past weekend by making it to the Davis Cup Final in Madrid.
Denis, the now number 15-ranked player in the world, lost a close match in the Davis Cup Final to the number 1-ranked Rafael Nadal, giving Spain its sixth Davis Cup title and denying Canada its first.
Denis represented Team Canada along with Félix Auger-Aliassime, Vasek Pospisil and Brayden Schnur. The team was led by captain Frank Dancevic.
The firm was thrilled to have Denis visit the office on Wednesday afternoon. Denis took photos with excited staff and lawyers and gave away a few autographed tennis balls.
