Canada's VarageSale raises $34 Million
Toronto-based VarageSale Inc. created an app and listings marketplace that acts as a virtual garage sale or swap meet. According to the Globe and Mail, Sequoia Capital and Lightspeed Venture Partners are leading a $34 million investment in the Canadian tech company, with investors from Floodgate, Real Ventures, iNovia Capital and Version One Ventures also participating. The company is looking to use the money to fund another push for growth.
