National Indigenous Peoples Day is celebrated each year on June 21. In recognition of this day, join Kimberly Thomas, citizen of the Seneca Nation, Bear Clan and Affiliated Independent Counsel to Aird & Berlis, as she discusses employment, industry and growth with leaders from the Indigenous business community. This complimentary webinar will provide insight about the dynamic and talented pool of Indigenous business owners and leaders in Canada.

Kim will interview Laurie Froman, Director of Grand River Employment and Training (GREAT) and Scott Hill, Vice President at Original Traders Energy. Together they will discuss how they support the Indigenous communities they serve, unique employment considerations for Indigenous businesses and challenges they must overcome to stay positioned for success. 

Kim and her guests will also share some of the advantages of working with the Indigenous community and offer advice to businesses who are new to these collaborations.
